Little Island Creamery and the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce are honoring the 100th birthday of the Westport/Cathlamet ferry with a celebration on Saturday, June 21 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Little Island Creamery. The celebration of this important connection honors the history and future of our unique community.

The Washington State Tourism Department has granted nearly $16,000 for highway marker signs, designed by a local artist.

Business and individual sponsorships are being offered to support the celebration of the only interstate ferry operating west of the Mississippi River.
